I am a Brighton and Hove based artist producing abstract modern art rainbow paintings, that currently use interior emulsion paints.  I emerged on Instagram with my recent collection during lockdown 2020.  Creating my first miniature canvas painting giveaway called “We Will Get Over This”.  Relating to the coronavirus, I showcased the iconic NHS rainbow symbol within the paintings. The rainbows various sizes represented the coronavirus decreasing.  All have a special note popped inside the canvas.

I wanted to bring some joy and happiness to people at home in lockdown, sprinkling some love in difficult times.  I also raised funds with voluntary donations for NHS and the Mental Health Charity Mind.  The support I received was staggering with literally thousands of people nominating friends, and loved ones to receive one of sixteen original miniature paintings.

Rainbows bring hope, joy, happiness, love and represent many sections of our society such as the NHS, LGBTQ+ community, “rainbow” babies, furthermore many people associate Brighton with the rainbow symbol.

I love creating unusual and striking colour combinations from pastels shades to vibrant muted tones. I mix a range of traditional, playful and stylised painting techniques.  Some of my larger paintings that are 20 x 20cm include 24k gold leaf.

Following a feature in the local Brighton and Hove Newspaper The Argus, I have received overwhelming interest from people wanting to buy my work.  So, decided to produce and sell them locally and online.  All of them are handmade by me with love.
